how to get here

flying

When flying to Spain you have the choice of three destination airports, either Barcelona, Castellon or Reus. Reus Is the closer of the three at about 50 minutes drive to Benifallet, Castellon is approx. 1hr 15mins where as Barcelona is approximately 1hour and 50 minutes. If you travel from Stansted to Reus or Castellon we have found that Ryanair are the cheapest airline available. However flying to Barcelona is generally cheaper and has more availability from most UK airports.

driving

Driving to Spain you will need to allow two days as it is about 1,100miles from Calais, this option can work out quite expensive as crossings can cost in excess of £250 or more, with motorway tolls at around £100+ then the cost of fuel and maybe an overnight stay. If this option is not for you then we can recommend booking with Brittany Ferries from either Portsmouth or Plymouth and arrive at Bilbao or Santander which is approx. a 5 ½ - 6 ½ hrs drive to Benifallet. We found  that Brittany Ferries are the cheapest means of crossing in the past. You can either travel economy for start price £460 or a mini cruise start price £518 tolls are approx. 60€-70€ (2017 prices for 1 car and up to 4 people)
